The Wedding
Getting married in the British Virgin Islands is getting increasingly popular and easy to organise. What could be more romantic than sharing your vows on the beautiful island of Tortola or one of the many other Caribbean islands or even on our luxurious yacht, English Rose.

The first thing you must do is apply for a licence by purchasing $110 ($50 if you have been a resident in the BVI for 15 days or more) in stamps from the Post Office in Road Town, Tortola. These stamps should then be presented to the Attorney Generals Chambers where an application form is completed and signed by the applicants and two witnesses. You will

need to show your passport and if applicable an original or certified copy of your divorce decree, absolute, or a death certificate. The application takes three days to process. Only when the licence has been granted can the application for the ceremony be made.

The registrar, however, can be booked prior to arrival and will often marry couples in the venue of their choice including a beach or boat. The usual charge for this is $35 for an office ceremony or $100 for a beach, boat, or other venue.

The Honeymoon
Whether you are getting married at home, or in the BVI we will make your honeymoon as special and memorable as possible. Firstly, by greeting you with champagne and flowers in your private en-suite cabin upon arrival. The crew will tend to all your needs, even if you should want that special time alone we can take you via dinghy to a quiet secluded beach and leave you alone with a picnic lunch, cold drinks, and a beach tent to shade you from the hot afternoon sun.
You can spend the afternoon just lazing on the beach, swimming, or snorkeling before we pick you up in time for a romantic dinner on board.

We have special offers for the happy couple whether you decide to come alone or bring your family and friends with you
