| Virgin Gorda is the second most populated island. The north and south of the island are divided by a large mountain right in the middle. The North Shore with the small islands of Mosquito and Prickly Pear encircle the protected 'North Sound' which has exceptionally calm waters which are perfect for snorkeling. There are a number of shops, bars, restaurants and the famous Bitter End Yacht Club. The southern part of the island, known as The Valley is generally flat with giant granite |

Devils Bay, Spring Bay, and The Crawl are beaches located close to the Baths with crystalline beaches, clear water and natural pools which have been formed by the giant boulders. These pools are ideal for 'little ones' learning to snorkel. Coppermine Point is toward the east of the Valley where you can see the old Coppermine ruins complete with mineshafts dating back to the 1800s. The beach is very rocky with crashing waves.
